This is an Italian salt-cured bacon, spiced with black pepper and is made either flattened (stesa) or rolled (arrotolata). This process produces a stronger flavour than a classic rasher bacon, and can be used to great effect in salads, soups and pasta sauces.
Weight varies slightly but is approximately 300g
